At the age of 14 , Dylan was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Throughout his courageous 4.5 year battle, he endured extensive rounds of chemo, 7 surgeries and 3 trials. Despite all of this - he decided to always hold a smile on his face and to give all his heart to care for his friends.
And also getting back to playing baseball as soon as possible.
Pay it forward.
Dylan chose to face each day with a smile. He wanted everyone to feel welcomed and thought of. His selflessness made a huge impact on those who were lucky enough to know him, and made this new chapter simple. In his honor, the Dylan Newman Forever 5 works as a team, giving back to our community and hopes to make someone else’s life just a little brighter.
Donations to the Dylan Newman Forever 5 foundation will provide the gift of scholarships for graduating seniors at local schools, as well as helping those in need.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support.
"Baseball is about going home and how hard it is to get there, and how driven is our need. It tells us how good home is. Its wisdom says you can go home again, but that you cannot stay."
